I just found out that I'm apparently famous on the Lego.com Message Boards (LMB) http://messageboards.lego.com/en-US/default.aspx. I was a member from 2003-2005 and I posted messages under the username KRRouse, which I still use on my Fanfiction.net and Deviantart accounts. I quit posting on LMB because the site underwent drastic changes in 2005 (called The Great Migration) and my account stopped working.

Someone contacted me on Deviantart last night and asked if I was the same KRRouse from LMB. When I confirmed that, they told me the whole story:

It seems I was the very first LMB member to reach Maniac status, meaning I was the first to make 12,033 posts on the message boards. My posts can no longer be found because of the site's changes, but my username still shows on the member list. People have been searching for me and trying to learn my true identity for the past seven years. They call it "The Mystery of KRRouse" and it's the biggest unsolved case on the boards. There's even an article about me on their Wiki site! http://legomessageboards.wikia.com/wiki/KRRouse

Some LMB users have speculated that I secretly assumed a new identity on Lego.com. Others have questioned if I ever existed. One user was even banned from the boards for claiming to BE me! To top it all off, everyone just assumed I was a boy until I was contacted last night. Gees, even after growing my hair long and wearing tighter clothes, I can't escape that.

So what do I think of all this? Honestly, I find it kind of funny. It was an eye-opener to learn what a huge name I'd made for myself (well, huge username, I guess) without even knowing it, and it gave me a good laugh when I needed one. Who knew that Bigfoot only wore size 7.5 shoes?

So for anyone from LMB who reads this, your mystery is solved. My name is Katelyn Rushe, I'm a girl, and I haven't been on the message boards since 2005.

And my bedroom is still full of Lego sets. :)
